WK Motorcycles is riding high following a successful debut at Motorcycle Live which closed last Sunday following a nine day run at the NEC.
“We were overwhelmed by the level of both trade and consumer interest in the new WK and Lambretta models,” said WK sales manager Henry Maplethorpe.”
“The new WK650 Sport is our first step into the sports machine category and it is clear from the positive response at Motorcycle Live that there is strong interest in a keenly priced, sports-styled middleweight. With current currency fluctuations it is difficult to give a guaranteed price, but we are aiming to be very close the the £4000 mark when the machine goes on sale in the Spring, which will represent exceptional value and performance for money.
“On the Lambretta side of the stand, we had a constant flow of visitors of all ages, from older riders recalling their first Lambretta and giving the new LN125 the thumbs up, right through to teenagers aiming for their CBT, who love the style and the name.
“The whole event had a constant positive buzz and the organisation team did a great job for the exhibitors and for the industry as a whole.”
