Winter Solstice

Today 21 December 2013 Google announced the Northern Hemisphere Winter Solstice.  They used the same Google Doodle as earlier this year when they announced the Winter Solstice in the Southern Hemisphere.

I feel a bit offended by the fact that Google have used the exact doodle for the Winter Solstice both times this year, and are wondering if the doodler responsible for the doodle were just a bit lazy or if Google is not paying as much attention to their doodles as they used to…

Today’s Winter Solstice doodle is a knitted logo symbolizing the cold and middle of winter.
