Ultimate High, the UK’s top aerobatics training school, brings barrel rolls to join the bacon rolls at Goodwood Breakfast Club this Sunday (1st April) to fit with the theme ‘Everything but the Car’. Visitors will be entertained by amazing gyroscopic "tumbling" manoeuvres as part of an unlimited aerobatic display in the Extra300 aircraft and the chance to win an aerobatic experience in the Ultimate High Spring Competition.

Goodwood Airshow

Gates to Goodwood Motor Circuit open at 8am on Sunday and visitors can expect to see bikes, trucks, tractors, vans, aircraft…anything with an engine except a regular passenger car - very apt for April Fool’s Day. The Ultimate High Extra300 will be positioned on the circuit for visitors to view the aircraft, meet the Display Pilot and enter the aerobatic competition. The aerobatic display will take place around 9am (subject to weather).

Built solely for the world of unlimited competition aerobatics and air displays, the Extra300 is the two-seat version of those used in the Red Bull Air Races. The 300bhp Extra300 is a taildragger aircraft, with two wheels at the front and one on the tail. The Extra300 represents the peak of aerobatic design and is capable of speeds of over 250mph and a climb rate of 3,300 feet per minute, close to the vertical.

“Ultimate High is delighted to be working with Goodwood to support the popular Breakfast Club events on 1st April and 6th May. We are now operating corporate days and individual flights from Goodwood Aerodrome and look forward to combining the thrill of aerobatics with the unbeatable professionalism and incredible surroundings that Goodwood has to offer,” commented Mark Greenfield, Display Pilot and CEO of Ultimate High.

Goodwood Breakfast Club is one of the finest monthly events on the UK’s motoring calendar and attracts a jaw-dropping collection of some of the world’s most desirable and cherished vehicles. This Sunday an adrenalin-fuelled Sunday morning drive (or ride), scrumptious English breakfast and the camaraderie of fellow motoring enthusiasts will be enhanced by the thrill of unlimited aerobatics and the chance to win an aerobatic flight at Goodwood.
