- New Introductory course caters for colleagues new to the industry
- Intermediate course caters for those who have worked in remarketing for a couple of years
- Courses open to non VRA members as well as members
The Vehicle Remarketing Association has launched a range of training course dates for 2012, including a new Introductory course for employees joining the industry.
Six day-long courses – three Introductory and three Intermediate – are being run at locations in High Wycombe, Bruntingthorpe and Manchester during April, May and June.
The new Introductory course is aimed at those who maybe are entering the industry for the first time or moving up the career ladder into supervisory roles. The course gives a clear understanding of the used market, its size, shape and key remarketing dynamics, more about vendors and buyers and where to access key information and data about the industry. The costs are £229 for non-VRA members and £179 for members.
The Intermediate course caters for those who have worked in remarketing for two or three years in supervisory and management roles. The course content includes how remarketing fits into the overall automotive industry, its key related support services, the detailed dynamics of the used vehicle supply chain, the sales channel options available to customers, understanding used values and the more detailed requirements of both buyers and sellers. The costs are £249 for non-VRA members and £199 for members.
“The initial feedback from courses we ran in 2011 was very positive and we have launched a new and expanded programme for 2012. In all we are scheduling to run over 20 courses this year,” explained John Davies, the VRA’s chairman.
“The courses have been developed by the industry for the industry and most importantly every course is highly interactive and uniquely relevant to the remarketing sector,” he added.
