The Vehicle Remarketing Association (VRA) has announced its final speaker line up and key topics for discussion at its 9 February conference to be held at the brand new Silverstone Wing, Silverstone Circuit.
175 senior executives from the world of remarketing are set to join together to Shape the Future of Remarketing and debate the role it will play in the motor industry at both a micro and macro level over the coming 12 months.
Trevor Finn, chief executive of Pendragon plc will discuss the role used cars will play in dealer group business success in 2012, at the same time challenging the remarketing industry on how it can support these efforts.
John Lewis, the BVRLA’s chief executive will be looking at the used vehicle supply dynamics in the fleet and rental sectors over the coming 12-24 months, a key reference point in the remarketing industry for used vehicle prices.
Paul Everitt, the SMMT’s chief executive will look at the changing face of the UK motor industry together with the main challenges ahead, while David Raistrick, automotive partner at Deloitte will provide some stark analysis on the micro and macro impacts of the global economic crisis on the remarketing and broader automotive industry.
The car industry is faced with a constant barrage of legislation and government policy and Helena Fearon, director risk and compliance Trader Media Group will provide practical advice on how the industry can successfully meet these future demands at both a trade and consumer level.
Throughout the conference, delegates will be able to use individual electronic voting handsets to respond to live questions from speakers, as well as input into a general panel discussion involving a small group of high profile remarketing personalities. This session will discuss current topical issues under the scrutiny of well known Conference Host and TV Personality Ginny Buckley.
