Victory Motorcycles is an American success story, and it’s also a story of success for South Africa where the brand is also making great strides – offering a genuine performance alternative to the usual array of cruisers that come out of the USA.

Having just celebrated 15 years of business Victory has released a truly special 15th Anniversary version of its already excellent Cross Country Tour. The 15th Anniversary Cross Country Tour Limited Edition will be the main feature on the Victory stand at the AMID Motorcycle Expo from 8th -11th August at the Nasrec Exhibition Centre south of Johannesburg.

With XM radio, an audio system featuring four KICKER speakers and a Garmin GPS system this Limited Edition model comes with all the amenities a touring rider should expect, including a full lockable luggage system that feature lid rails that hark back to the very first Victory, the V92C.

The very first Victory motorcycle to roll off the production line in 1998 was an Antares Red over Black V92C with gold pin-striping, and fifteen years later a run of just 150 of these 15th Anniversary Cross Country Limited Edition units featuring commemorative paint and anniversary badges will roll off the same assembly line.

15 years ago Victory Motorcycles offered only the one model, but the American manufacturer has been busy in the meantime and now offers a full range of Cruisers, Baggers and Touring models. Visitors to the AMID Motorcycle Expo will be able to get up close and personal with all these models, including the gutsy Judge and the glitzy Boardwalk – a contender in the recent Pirelli South African Bike of The Year competition.
