September 8th, 2022. The E-Mobility Awards today issued a final reminder that entries to their second annual competition celebrating ingenuity, innovation, and achievement in this key sector are due in no later than Monday September 26, when they will be reviewed by an international and expert judging panel made up of industry leaders.

By July 2022, the number of EVs on the road in the UK surpassed the half million mark and is growing at 140% a year according to research from NextGreenCar.

Becky Knight, events manager on the E-Mobility Awards has a clear view of their goal: “We want to recognise and celebrate the extraordinary innovation and growing business success of this incredible sector.  To do that properly, we aim to encourage the broadest possible range of companies from across the sector to enter the E-Mobility Awards, from cars, buses, boats, trucks and off-road vehicles, to charging infrastructure or new technologies, right through to innovative EV financing models”.

There are 11 Ingenuity categories, 15 Innovation categories and 8 Overall Achievement categories to enter and win, plus one Prix d’Honneur, decided by the judges from the category winners. Innovators and disruptors are invited from across the mobility sector to enter and receive their recognition from a truly independent judging panel.

Steve Doyle, CEO of EVera Recruitment has no doubt that becoming a Supporting Partner is a good idea. “The E-Mobility Awards don’t just touch on the glossy side of the Electric Vehicle sector. Instead, they look right across the e-mobility eco-system, embracing the OEMs in automotive, but also looking at marine, aviation, working vehicles and mass transit. They go even further, calling for entries in categories for design, engineering and charge point manufacturing, as well as the teams that support the whole mobility/EV sector. That’s why EVera wanted to add their support to celebrate the rich and diverse network of business that make the UK a leader in eMobility innovation.”

There is room for further sponsorship engagement with the Awards, whether it’s for Headline Sponsorship or for a simple on-the-night branding package. Matt MacNamara is development director of the Awards and is firmly focused on building relationships with potential sponsors, both for this year and for the future: “It was uncharted territory for me to begin with, but I quickly realised that potential sponsors were very interested to learn about the Awards and how they might get involved in this celebration of excellence and innovation across the sector. It has been an honour to forge links with ZipCharge, influence emobility, EVera Recruitment and Mobility Makers, but there’s room for more to join the sponsorship roster and I’m looking forward to meeting them.”
