Ford Motor Company of Southern Africa recently revealed its top dealer accolades. The awards honour top achieving dealers in their respective categories.
“I would like to extend my congratulations to all the dealers who rose to the challenge and exceeded expectations in 2006,” commented Hal Feder, President and CEO Ford Motor Company of Southern Africa. “These awards serve to recognise their commitment to our customers and to Ford Motor Company of Southern Africa.”
The Imperial Group and Eastern Cape Motors Group were recognised as the overall Group Winners for 2006.
Lazarus Motor Company, Centurion took the award for first place in the Mega Large category, followed by Eagle Corner, Bramley; Consolidated Auto, Boksburg and Action Ford, Roodeport.
The Super Large category was strongly contested with Eastern Cape Motors, North End taking top honours followed by Aurina Auto, Pretoria; Rand Ford and Mazda, Randburg and AWH Auto.
Ritchie Auto, Richards Bay; Casseys Auto, Springs; Novel Auto, Paarl and EC Motors, East London topped the list in the Extra Large category while Action Ford and Mazda, Krugersdorp; Stanger Auto, Stanger and Allen Joss Auto, Pretoria took the accolades in the Large category.
The winners in the medium category were: Ritchie Auto and Tractors, Standerton; JW Auto, Cradock and Porters Auto, Kroonstad. Citrona Motors, Wellington was the best achiever in the Small category.

The market has reached hyper competitive levels and combined with lower forecasted growth rates in 2007, the coming year will require re-doubling of our efforts to sell, service and satisfy our customers.”
