“Wrooom 2012 – F1 & MotoGP Press Ski Meeting”, the prestigious event organised in Madonna di Campiglio (Trento) in which Fiat is participating as Sponsor and Official Car, is taking place in this period. The event’s main attraction is the New Panda, the natural evolution of an invention that in its 31-year history has always been a byword for charm, ease-of-use and versatility.
The event is reserved for trade press and acknowledged as the first “official” appointment of the sporting season. It will involve various meetings with stars of Formula 1 and MotoGP. The Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro drivers – Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa – are naturally two of the stars who have “tested” the latest entry in the Fiat range on the roads and slopes of the famous ski resort. The brand has also placed a fleet of the new Panda, Freemont and 500 models at the disposal of the organisation as an exclusive courtesy service.
“Wrooom 2012 – F1 & MotoGP Press Ski Meeting” is a colossal festival of engines and fun, all made even more original and exciting by the many initiatives scheduled to liven up the evenings in Madonna di Campiglio. A few of these appointments were hosted at the Fiat Chalet, an elegant and glamorous refuge located at an altitude of more than 2000 metres on thepeakofMt.Spinale, against the fascinating backdrop of the Dolomites. It has been the “winter home” of Fiat Automobiles since 2006.
It was precisely in front of the Fiat Chalet that the public had the chance to admire several new Pandas, thus getting a close-up look at the wide range generated by the combination of 3 trim levels (Pop, Easy and Lounge), 10 body colours, 9 interiors, 2 hub caps and 2 alloy wheels (14″ and 15″). Available with front-wheel drive, thenew citycar also distinguishes itself with its range of engines, all champions of performance, fuel consumption and emissions. One of them is the outstanding 85 HP 0.9 TwinAir Turbo with Start&Stop supplied as standard, named “International Engine of the Year 2011”. Completing the offer are the 75 HP 1.3 MultiJet II turbodiesel with Start&Stop supplied as standard and the renewed 69 HP 1.2 Fire petrol engines.
