This month, INFINITI will debut the QX Inspiration concept, a glimpse into the brand’s electrified future, at the 2019 North American International Auto Show.

The new idea symbolizes INFINITI’s intentions for high-performance electric cars with total range assurance, ushering in a new age of INFINITI design made possible by cutting-edge technology. The brand’s updated form language, which is infused with Japanese DNA, teases the strength and personality of its next electric powertrains.

The creation of expansive, lounge-like interiors is made possible by the development of new electric vehicle platforms. In the case of the QX Inspiration concept, the cabin has been expertly hand-crafted employing traditional methods and a selection of materials that are influenced by a subtle sensuality of Japanese design. A pleasant environment is created by the innovative interior technology, which also helps drivers and connects passengers to their surroundings, in keeping with the Japanese hospitality ideal of “omotenashi.”

The QX Inspiration is the start of a new era for INFINITI and a representation of the direction the company wishes to take, according to Karim Habib, Executive Design Director for INFINITI. The potential presented by new technology allows INFINITI to adapt its design philosophy, and the new car conveys the “serene strength” that lies at our very heart.
