With three Toyota dealerships representing the marque, as well as a host of other bodies and organisations involved in the preparations and planning, it’s once again set to be a very successful event.

The rally, consisting of four tar stages on Friday, 18 September, and nine gravel stages on Saturday, 19 September, over a total distance of approximately 219 stage kilometres, will kick off with a recce stage in the vicinity of Malmesbury in the Swartland on Thursday, 17 September, followed by scrutineering from 18h00 at Malmesbury Toyota, in Voortrekker Road, Malmesbury.

Friday morning will kick off with a recce by the competitors of the Killarney race circuit (in road cars) before they make their way to McCarthy Toyota Killarney Gardens for the official start at 14:40.

After two stages at the Killarney race track (15:00 and 16:20) competitors will travel to Imperial Toyota Cape Gate in Brackenfell for the extremely popular night tar stages in and around the Cape Gate shopping centre.  The Cape Gate stages will start at 18:40 and afterwards the competitors will travel to the Malmesbury Show Grounds – venue for the Rally headquarters.

Scrutineering for regional rally competitors will take place at the Show Grounds early on Saturday morning. The rally will restart at 07:00 from Malmesbury Toyota with the competitors tackling nine special stages consisting of approximately 195 kilometres of gravel roads in the Swartland area.

The first car is expected back at the Malmesbury Show Grounds for the finish of the rally at around 16:00 on Saturday afternoon.
