The Rally Motorsport Season officially started on the 2nd of March 2013 in South Africa, when the guys took on each other at the Donaldson Cross Country Championship at the RFS Magalies 400 near Tarlton Krugersdorp Gauteng.

RFS 400

Lance Woolridge in his Ford won the day and came in first with his ford, he is the son of former South African Rally champion Neil Woolridge. Neil Woolridge is also involved with the current ford racing team. Lance Woolridge have a bright future if he is to follow in his father’s footsteps and the RFS 400 win at age 21 is quite an accomplishment, considering that veterans like Dakar Rally Drivers Rob Howie and Duncan Vos participated in the RFS 400 rally.

The day belonged to the Ford Ranger Rally Team getting a first place as well as second place for Chris Visser and Jappie Badenhorst.

Johan Burger and Malcolm Kock ended in third place with their Toyota Hilux.

The start of the Rally Motorsports season were packed with actions and upsets, and it looks like the 2013 Motorsports Season are off to a great start!
