Offenbach, 12 June 2012 - With UEFA EURO 2012 kicking into action in fine style over the weekend, not many people could have predicted the scores from the first round of matches. Now, Hyundai, proud partner of UEFA EURO 2012, is offering football fans the chance to claim a slice of glory for themselves with the Hyundai Match Predictor.
By playing the Hyundai Match Predictor, football fans can make forecasts during any stage of the competition – even while games are taking place. Participants can test their skills at correctly guessing the match winners, exact score, number of goals and winning margin. Fans can even get involved while matches are taking place by predicting when the next goal is scored.
Mark Hall, Marketing Director of Hyundai Motor Europe, commented: “With some great goals and moments of high drama, UEFA EURO 2012 has really exploded into action. We want to engage as many people as possible in what promises to be a fantastic four weeks of football, and giving fans the chance to predict more shock results during the tournament is a great way of doing that.”
Hyundai Match Predictor players can pick up a number of prizes according to the accuracy of their predictions. The overall champion predictor will claim a 3D TV, while runners-up and individual stage winners will be awarded shirts and footballs signed by members of Team Hyundai: Iker Casillas (Spain), Lukas Podolski (Germany), Giuseppe Rossi (Italy), Karim Benzema (France) and Daniel Sturridge (England)
These five game-changing brand ambassadors are leading the campaign on Hyundai’s global Facebook page to support people in realising their ambitions to become game-changers of the future – the company will donate up to 250,000 Euros in response to fans’ pledges.
Hyundai has been a partner of UEFA for more than 12 years, making EURO 2012 the fourth consecutive championship at which the company has played an active role.
