Peugot Retailers Driver Power Survey

Auto Express’s annual Driver Power survey is based on scores from thousands of new-car buyers, polled across two sets of four categories including showroom facilities, salesperson performance, communication, courtesy, and handover process.

PEUGEOT achieved high scores across a range of leading areas, with voters impressed by the handover process and salesperson performance from retailers, whilst the facilities and courtesy service that the brand has to offer were both ranked second among the brands polled. PEUGEOT owners also highlighted retailer efforts to provide cleanliness and hygiene considering issues around COVID-19, whilst clear communication from the brand was noted as making the customer journey more streamlined.

Acknowledgement in the Auto Express Driver Power survey is highly valued among the automotive industry as an independent perspective on how drivers truly view retailers and their experience with brands.

Steve Fowler, Editor-in-Chief of Auto Express, said: “PEUGEOT retailers received an impressive set of scores in this year’s Driver Power survey, but none more so than remarkable second-place finishes when it comes to service centre facilities and the courtesy offered by service-centre staff. Peugeot owners are proving to be an extremely satisfied bunch when it comes to the end-to-end dealer experience.”

The 2022 Driver Power survey comes as PEUGEOT continues to develop it’s offering of electric vehicles to provide customers with a wider range of vehicle choice. PEUGEOT’s current offering of electric vehicles includes the award-winning PEUGEOT e-208 and PEUGEOT e-2008. The brand recently launched the New PEUGEOT 308 and 308 SW, whilst PEUGEOT’s latest model, the PEUGEOT 408 will arrive in showrooms in 2023 with a choice of two plug-in electric hybrid powertrains. PEUGEOT aims to provide an electrified variant across the entire model range by 2024

Julie David, Managing Director PEUGEOT UK, said: “I am very proud to hear that PEUGEOT has been ranked so highly in Auto Express’ Driver Power dealer survey for the year. Each PEUGEOT team across the country works hard to ensure that all our customers receive the best possible service and are able to access any assistance they might need with their car. I hope that our retail network continues to impress customers as we continue to work towards offering a more diverse model line-up.”

PEUGEOT is currently offering a free 15-point Essential Safety Check* when visiting a local retailer. The visual check covers all vital components of a customer’s car, including the tyres, brakes and battery, with the option to upgrade to an Enhanced or Ultimate Safety Check* for additional support such as vital fluid top-ups, Air Con Refresh and a £30 voucher towards a future service.
