Nissan Johannesburg Motor Show 2011ROSSLYN, PRETORIA (Friday, 16 September 2011) – Nissan’s exhibition at this year’s

Johannesburg International Motor Show

promises to be a showstopper. Not only will motoring lovers get a sneak peek of the much anticipated Nissan Juke and multi-award winning Nissan LEAF, but they’ll also have the chance to show off their driving skills in a Nissan GT-R Playstation 3 simulator, with the added opportunity of winning some massive prizes.

Central to this year’s exhibition is the SUV/Coupé hybrid that motor enthusiasts just can’t seem to get enough of. The distinctively-styled Juke combines the multi-functionality offered by an SUV with the style and comfort of a luxury Coupé to create a new breed of crossover. In only five short months the Juke has already garnered a host of awards as well as a five star Euro NCAP safety rating. On display for the first time on African soil, the Juke is sure to be the talk of the show.

Joining the Juke on stage is the eco-friendly Nissan LEAF, the first mass-marketed fully-electric zero emissions vehicle in its class. As the winner of both the World Car of the Year and European Car of the Year awards, the Nissan LEAF is testament to Nissan’s innovative approach in providing the world with cleaner and more affordable cars.

Besides an occasion to experience these thrilling new additions to the Nissan fleet, the show will also play host to an exciting competition with some amazing prizes. Visitors at the Nissan stand will have the chance to put their driving skills to the test in one of two Nissan GT-R Playstation 3 driving simulators. The player with the fastest time and a valid driver’s licence will win a day at the Zwartkops Racetrack trying out the ‘real deal’ in the company of motor legend Wilhelm Baard. Runners-up and those without a driver’s licence will stand to win one of three Playstation 3 consoles with added extras.

Come and visit the 4×4 track at the show where Nissan will have a selection of 4×4 vehicles available for test-drive, namely the Pathfinder, Patrol Pickup, Navara, X-Trail and the Patrol Station Wagon

The exhibition takes place between 6 and 16 October 2011 in Hall 6, Stand E5, at the Nasrec Expo Centre in Johannesburg. Be one of the estimated 275 000 global visitors to the show and make the most of this rare opportunity to experience the Nissan brand like never before.
