Nigel MacDonaldLeading international vehicle leasing systems house, Drive Software Solutions, the UK based company responsible for the DRIVE system in use in major leasing companies around the globe, have appointed Nigel MacDonald as Country Manager for it’s fast growing Australian operation DRIVE Australia.

Talking about his new role and the challenges ahead, MacDonald said: ” My first task was to open our Australian office which is located in the heart of the Sydney CBD.  We are here, and are investing in Australia in order to deliver first class solutions and service to the Australian Fleet Management Market.

Our number one priority is to ensure our existing clients are able to maximise the return on their investment in Drive Software and use all of it’s power and flexibility to gain competitive edge.

Of course we want other major players in this sector to understand and appreciate what we can deliver to their business and we can only do that by being an Australian based organisation, able to respond and meet with people face to face.”

Nigel MacDonald has a 30 year background in delivering international IT systems into large public sector organisations, international enterprises and the automotive industry, having worked for Kalamazoo Business Systems, Groupe Bull, FCS Computers, Sheridan Systems and Sodexo. Most recently MacDonald was CEO of healthcare technology systems house HET Software PTY based in Chatswood, Sydney NSW.
