The New York International Auto Show is pleased to reveal the 2014 poster artwork and outdoor advertising campaign ‘The Future Starts Here,’ which sets the tone for the upcoming automotive showcase.
The Auto Show runs from April 18 – 27, 2014 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in Manhattan. Press Preview days are April 16 & 17.
“The newly released poster artwork shows a sense of imminent possibility with its sleek, minimalist engine ignition button as its focus,” said Show chairman John LaSorsa. “Surrounded by an enticing glow, the ‘start button’ encourages you to get ready, get excited and get your own metaphorical engine running in preparation for North America’s first and largest-attended Auto Show.”
“The Show is an inspiring combination of new ideas, technological innovation and future-looking concept cars, and this year’s poster art reflects that perfectly,” said LaSorsa.
The eye-catching graphic serves many purposes for the event including the basis of an extensive outdoor advertising campaign on major metro area billboards, the New York City Subway, Long Island Rail Road, NY Waterway, and Metro-North Railroad.
It’s also the focal point of a comprehensive magazine, newspaper and web advertising campaign and provides a perfect backdrop to a variety of Show merchandise including T-shirts, hats, pins, and the official Show poster.
