    When to Go to the New Year’s Eve Party:

    • If you want to have a good spot close to the main stage, you must come as early as 5:30pm, the official program on the main stage starts at 6:30 p.m.
    • The fireworks displays at midnight are the Highlight of the Berlin New Year’s Eve, but the party goes on after the fireworks displays

    The closest metro stations are:

    • Bellevue
    • Tiergarten
    • Potsdamer Platz
    • Friedrichstraße

    Remember that the metro station “Unter den Linden”, which is right in front of the Brandenburg Gate, will be closed at 5 p.m.

    Helpful Tips for a Great New Years Eve Party in Berlin:

    All bags will be checked at entrances; make sure that you leave the following items at home, or otherwise they will be confiscated:

    • Beverage cans (you can buy drinks on the event premises)
    • Alcohol

    • Plastic bottles bigger than 0,5 liter
