NEW BENTLEY BRAND IDENTITY SPEAKS THE LANGUAGE OF SUCCESS
New look for Bentley’s historic HQ wins prestigious design award
- Innovative modern twist for iconic manufacturer's entrance and reception
(Crewe, 12 December 2012). The redesigned reception and entrance area at Bentley Motors’ headquarters in Crewe has been announced as the “Overall Winner” at the 2012 Society of British Interior Design Awards. The prestigious award was judged by a range of influential designers including Professor Jimmy Choo OBE.
Bentley’s new reception area was designed by leading British design agency FutureBrand in conjunction with Bentley. It combines all the hallmarks of Bentley’s contemporary luxury design values. Fine Bentley materials are showcased in the bespoke furniture which features traditional Bentley veneers and hides, whilst the unique skills of Bentley’s craftsmen and women are embodied in a handcrafted desk which echoes the graceful lines of a Bentley car. Trophies from Bentley’s famous heritage are displayed alongside an innovative new boutique for the Bentley Collection.
Stefan Buescher, Bentley’s Director of Product and Marketing, said:
“We are delighted that the design of our new reception area has been recognised with such a prestigious, international award. Bentley is a globally renowned luxury brand with a strong heritage and forward thinking innovative design. We are planning significant growth for the company in the coming years and updating our global brand DNA is a key part of that journey.”
“The unique luxury design language we have used at our ‘Home of Bentley” in Crewe represents a significant and innovative step for our corporate brand identity. With this international award under our belts, we couldn’t have asked for a better start!”
