A British motoring icon is back to stay. It’s time to be seduced by the all-new MG6, to enjoy its contemporary lines, innovative technology and the sense of fun at its heart.
BEAUTY LIES WITHIN.
Step into the MG6 and you’ll be surprised by its premium feel, uncluttered style and sense of space. With the iconic octagonal badge on the steering wheel and modern technology within arm’s length, the interior styling of the MG6 is a perfect marriage of sporting heritage and modern day luxury.
TRUE SPOR TING PEDIGREE.
Since its origins in 1924, MG has always had strong links with motorsport. From the early 1930s dedicated racing cars were made and sold to enthusiasts. In 1939 an MG made a land speed record attempt, exceeding 200mph.
After the war, recording breaking attempts began again with the 500 and 750cc records being taken in the late 1940s. A team of MGAs took part in the infamous 1955 Le Mans 24 hour race, the best car finishing 12th. In 2001, MG relaunched its motor sport campaign at the 24 hours of Le Mans race and the British Touring Car Championships.
To this day MG boasts the largest amateur racing clubs in the world. This unique motorsport heritage lies at the heart of the new MG6.
MODERN SPORTS DYNAMICS.
As well as its turbocharged 160ps four cylinder petrol engine, McPherson strut suspension and multi-link rear suspension, the MG6 has an aerodynamic shape and alloy wheels to give you a true sporting feel, without compromising on space or modern luxuries.
What makes every MG special is the driving experience. The MG6 boasts class leading chassis dynamics derived from innovative engineering, an example of which is the compact yet agile rear axle.
ROOM TO BREATHE.
Entertaining the kids, walking the dog, shopping spree, road trip, sporting adventure, day out. Wherever you go in the MG6, there’s enough space to take everything you need along for the ride.
There is ample leg-room for all your passengers and the curve of the roof provides the maximum headroom. And that is not all. Surprisingly perhaps, the MG6 has one of the largest boot spaces for a car of its class. A luggage swallowing 472 litres capacity with the rear seats up becomes an amazing 1268 with the rear seats folded down.
GREAT BRITISH SPOR TING STYLE.
Whichever way you look at the new MG6, its fastback body style won’t fail to impress. The strong lines, curved edges and sporty features reflect the quality of this new model, and hint at the fun character at its heart.
The iconic octagonal logo sits proudly on the front grill, distinctive halogen lights add to the sporting appeal and body coloured mirrors give the car a smooth, streamlined look.
The aerodynamic shape brings MG’s sporting heritage to the new generation models.
