Further Boosting the Customer Ownership Experience
Mercedes-Benz UK has invested in a series of Training Workshops for its car retailers across the UK, to ensure staff have the right knowledge and expertise to continue to raise awareness of the benefits of the Mercedes-Benz Approved Used Scheme. The training was delivered to over 800 personnel, ranging from Sales Executives to General Managers.
Colin Niklas, Used Cars and Transport Manager for Mercedes-Benz UK said: “The aim of the workshops was to provide delegates with the knowledge to clearly demonstrate to customers the added value and financial benefits of the Mercedes-Benz Approved Used Scheme.”
The Training Workshop, conducted by Mondial Assistance UK, separated the overall cost of used vehicle ownership, such as servicing, warranty and roadside assistance to show the longer term cost savings that being a Mercedes-Benz Approved Used Scheme customer can bring.
Christina Ewbank, General Manager for Lookers Group, fully recognised the value of the training course: “The Training Workshop proved to be extremely effective in helping staff at Lookers fully understand the benefits of the Scheme. Perhaps more importantly, they learnt how the Scheme fitted within the context of the wider market. It may seem like a simple point, but in a highly competitive marketplace, this training has given our Sales team the edge. It has not only significantly helped us build lasting customer relationships but improved the ownership experience for those customers.”
