Google have selected London 2012 Synchronized Swimming to be featured as the 10th Google Doodle for the Summer Olympics which is currently taking place in the United Kingdom.

The Summer Olympics is taking place from the 27th July 2012 to the 12 August 2012.

The London 2012 Synchronized Swimming event only feature female swimmers and no male athletes. The event have been part of the Olympics since 1984 when the event were first included in the United States of America Olympics. The sport is very popular in the USA among men and woman.

The top countries competing for the London 2012 Synchronized Swimming event include Russia, USA, Canada, Japan, Spain, China, Great Britain and France. In past events the USA and Russia have dominated the event winning most medals. Russia have won in 2000, 2004 and 2008 but our money is on the USA this year.
