LEXUS AWARDS EXCELLENCE AT THE DEALER OF THE YEAR AWARDS
Legendary engineering, outstanding customer service and creative design cues, Lexus is always in pursuit of perfection so it takes a lot more than hard work and good customer service to be awarded the coveted prize of Lexus Dealer of the Year.
David White and his team at Lexus Kingsmead were very close to perfection and were awarded Lexus Dealer of the Year 2012.
“David White and his team have illustrated that they are dedicated and have implemented focussed efforts that are aligned to the core Lexus philosophy of the Pursuit of Perfection. We commend David White and his team for their achievement,” says Justin Ryan, General Manager: Lexus.
“With an absolute commitment to both the business and the Lexus brand, this dealership has excelled not only in the sales and customer experience arenas but also attained the highest profitability levels in the network,” adds Ryan.
In awarding the prize, the group of judges noted: “The General Manager displays leadership through commitment and example, and creating goals and visions for those around him. This award represents the attainment of that long held vision.
“Lexus dealers understand that customers who buy a Lexus do not simply purchase a car, but become part of a family of Lexus enthusiasts. Critical to maintaining this customer enthusiasm is the delivery of the ‘Lexus Experience’ ”
A dealership that has shown this consistently over the years was recognised as the Lexus Top Customer Experience Dealer. Lexus Cape Town City was bestowed with this honour for the second year running.
We measure a dealer’s performance in this regard by means of a personal interview with every Lexus customer – Sales and Service. This award is therefore a true reflection of how the customers feel about and experience the dealership.

Lexus also recognised the top performing Lexus Financial Services Dealer. Dean Turnbull of Lexus East Rand received the award on behalf of his dealership, which was recognised for their exceptional high service level and high overall market share. It is the fourth consecutive year that this dealer receives the award.
“Lexus Financial Services financed 57% of Lexus East Rand’s 2012 retail sales. We salute them for the being awarded this prestigious award for the fourth year running,” added Johan Brink, CEO of Toyota Financial Services.
The top Lexus awards were handed to the various recipients at a gala dinner at Cape Town International Convention Centre.
