KIA MOTORS SA GIVES AWAY A NEW RIO TO A LUCKY 94.7 LISTENER

Kia Motors South Africa(SOUTH AFRICA), 8 FEBRUARY 2012. The Kia Take40SA is a weekly music show, which plays a count down of Highveld Stereo and Kfm listeners’ top 40 favourite songs every Saturday. In 2010, Kia Motors South Africa partnered with Primedia, Highveld Stereo and Kfm, to become the main sponsor of the Take40SA. The partnership has been a great success and this has seen Kia renew the contract for a second year.

Kia Motors South Africa and the Kia Take40SA recently launched a competition where a lucky winner – one in Johannesburg and one in Cape Town – would win a brand new Kia Rio. This exciting competition, which ran for a period of three months, required listeners to simply vote for their favourite song in order to enter the competition and stand a chance of winning the car.

On Wednesday, 1 February 2012, the Johannesburg winner was drawn and Sarah Jordaan from Brakpan was announced as the owner of a brand new Kia Rio during the live broadcast of Saturday’s Kia Take40SA. Sarah, who admitted that she is a regular listener of the show, was motivated by her 10-year old daughter to enter the competition, and did so on the last day of the competition. Sarah has currently been without a car, and was overjoyed when receiving the prize. “I feel truly blessed, and really needed a new car, as I sold my previous car”, added Sarah.
