Waterworld has recently been re-appointed South African agents for the sophisticated Mastercraft range of boats in South Africa. And the Randburg-based company will be celebrating this re-appointment in a big way at this weekend’s Johannesburg Boat Show, which runs at Nasrec Expo Centre from Friday, August 24, to Sunday, August 26.

In addition to showing its spectacular X30 and X55 Mastercraft models, Waterworld will also be showing four new Viking boats, built at various locations in South Africa.’

“With the response from the boating industry, and the novel idea of combining the Johannesburg Boat Show with the Amid Motorcycle Show, as well as the Outdoor Exhibition, we are expecting a massive turnout this weekend,” says Waterworld’s Dan Savadier.

“With such a plethora of outdoor activities on show, and perfectly timed to take advantage of the first really warm spell in months, we reckon the show will be something to really celebrate, to welcome in the summer ahead, added Savadier.

Waterworld’s Viking range will appeal to the entry-level end of the boating market, and the company will be showing four models: two off-shore cats, known as a Pursuit 19 and a Pursuit 24, and two dual-purpose bow-rider boats, the Carrera 18 and the Carrera 23.

“And to top off our Mastercraft range, we will also be showing the ProStar 190”, said Savadier.
