Andrew Page Limited has for many years understood and recognised the contribution made by staff to its continued success. The company is, therefore, delighted to have successfully been re-accredited by Investors in People, the fourth occasion since being first accredited in the year 2000. The initiative specialises in transforming business performance through people.

The re-accreditation came after the company undertook an intensive five day external audit process which involved interviews with senior management at Andrew Page, head office staff and site visits which included interview sessions with staff within all of the company’s departments.

“We are all delighted to be re-accredited by Investors in People,” said Mark Roberts, Managing Director at Andrew Page. “People are our company’s most important and valuable asset. As a company we are continuing to expand our UK network and therefore the commitment and hard work of our staff is vital to maintain our industry leading standards of service to our many customers.”

At the core of achieving Investors in People – now in its 21st year of operation – is the ability for a company to show, by way of evidence and staff testimonials, a continual process for company communication, training and company values.

The re-accreditation follows closely on the launch, in late 2011, of the company’s e-learning platform. Staff training and development has taken a quantum leap forward since the introduction of this dynamic learning feature with over 11,000 lessons completed since its launch. It is significant that this learning tool, which forms a continual process of both learning and communication, is still in its infancy.

Recent company staff training successes has included employees collectively achieving in excess of 1,000 NVQ level 2 qualifications in their respective job functions.

These achievements, together with the company’s recently awarded Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) “skill miles” award, serves to re-enforce and underscore both staff and customer allegiance to the company’s core values of “inspiring employees and business partners, working together in total honesty and integrity delivering entrepreneurship to the motor trade”.
