Soho Square, London, 23 January 2014:  Thorough Events Ltd – the organisers of the award-winning Concours of Elegance – has appointed Influence Associates to handle all of its Press and PR activities for this world-class annual vehicle concours event.

Uniquely held each year within the historical setting of a Royal Palace, this year’s spectacular Royal venue for the third staging of the Concours of Elegance (5-7 September) will be announced shortly.

Since its inception in 2012, Thorough Events has held the Concours of Elegance to notable acclaim within the private grounds of Windsor Castle in its inaugural year – to honour Her Majesty’s diamond jubilee – and at the St James’s Palace in 2013.

The Concours of Elegance annually gathers 60 of the rarest cars in the world, from around the world, with the majority of these exceptional vehicles never before seen in the UK. The Concours of Elegance is also a significant charity fund-raising event, with the 2013 St James’s Palace event donating over £250,000 across a number of good causes.

Influence Associates’ brief is to help reinforce the strong reputation of the Concours of Elegance as one of the most prestigious events of its type in the world. Influence Associates will manage all of the Press and PR activities for the Concours of Elegance, including the activation of the event’s sponsorships and partnerships across print and broadcast media, as well as maximising the event’s social media following with relevant and compelling content and promotion.

With Influence Associates’ CEO Stuart Dyble at the helm, the in-house classic car team will be led by Gary Axon and his support team to manage the Concours of Elegance account, including PR, social media, marketing and promotional activities for September’s event throughout the year.
