The Drifting team sponsored by Infinity tyres is set to make a spectacular return to this October’s Brityrex International exhibition in Manchester.

Cars and drivers from Acorn Infinity Motorsport will be at the show fresh from competing in the seventh staging of the British Drift Championship. Held between April and September, this year’s series of six events for professional drivers will include a return to the home of British motorsport at Silverstone, in early September.

The team will also embark on its first full European campaign taking in countries such as Italy, Spain, France, Holland, Hungary and Austria.

Acorn’s team principle Scott Brandon, says: “Infinity has been a tremendous sponsor for the team so it will be great to spend time at Brityrex where Infinity will also be exhibiting on the Bond International stand.

“Tyres are obviously a critical component in drifting so we look forward to meeting show visitors and other exhibitors to talk about this tremendously exciting and popular branch of motorsport.”

Along with Infinity, Brityrex will showcase dozens of other tyre brands covering all market sectors from the latest UHP products through to truck, OTR, agricultural and industrial applications.

Paul Farrant from show organisers Singex-ECI commented: “We are delighted that Scott and his team will be returning to Brityrex again this year. Drifting has really captured the imagination of many motorsport enthusiasts and we know the Acorn Infinity car and drivers will be a big draw at the show.”

First established in 1979, Brityrex is the UK's only dedicated tyre trade and equipment exhibition, and will be the focus for new products and services across the tyre and automotive aftermarket sector. While maintaining an emphasis on all aspects of the tyre industry, the show will also continue to expand its coverage of associated and complimentary trade sectors, including workshop equipment, tools, parts, consumables and IT.
