Fast, easy access to valuations and trade HPI services on the move

The launch of a new mobile enabled browser for HPI, is delivering its market leading vehicle history and mileage checks, as well as valuations, to dealers on the move. Busy retailers out on the road, at an auction or on the forecourt can now access HPI’s trade services, instantly, via their iPhone or android smartphone – making it easier than ever to conduct those all important vehicle checks.

Fundamentally, with quality stock still in short supply, dealers need to ensure the price is right in an instant. Now, dealers gain access to both CAP and Glass’s valuations, including HPI Mid Month Valuations, via the mobile phone enabled browser.

Managing Director of HPI, Daniel Burgess explains, “HPI is always looking for new ways to support dealers, helping them make fast, informed decisions when out sourcing new stock. The launch of our mobile enabled browser extends our services to the dealer’s fingertips, preventing them from falling foul of criminal activity such as clocking, cloning, ringing and finance fraud, wherever they may be. HPI’s National Mileage Register holds over 130 million mileage records, making it the most comprehensive source of mileage data available to dealers.

With the OFT urging car buyers to ask questions about a vehicle’s history and mileage, dealers need to be armed with the right information so that they can sell their stock with confidence.

“We know that the majority of dealers do what they can to operate best practice and now it’s easier than ever with our new mobile enabled browser. Not only can dealers ensure they have access to the latest, most accurate valuations, but they can also conduct the vehicle checks they need to protect their business and their customers.”
