HPI is gearing up for Sport Relief 2012, with a range of fund raising activities planned throughout the week to help raise money for the big event. Sport Relief culminates on Friday 23 March with a night of TV, as the nation gets active in raising money to change the lives of people living in the UK and across the world’s poorest countries.

Over 60 HPI staff will be volunteering to receive donation calls, forming part of the huge network of call centres across the UK, dedicated to Sport Relief for the whole night. The HPI fundraising efforts don’t just stop at the end of the telephone. A competition has been set up to find out who HPI’s ‘biggest loser’ is, with a weigh-in on Monday and Friday. And to help the staff stay healthy and try to win the biggest loser competition, smoothies will be sold on Tuesday. All the proceeds from these events will go towards Sport Relief.

During Thursday lunchtime, a Zumba class will be taking place in the car park, with local Salisbury fitness company, GirlsLoveFit getting staff huffing and puffing for Sport Relief. While on the day itself staff will be pulling on their running shoes to take part in a 5k fundraising run. But the main attraction for Friday evening will be HPI’s very own kissing booth, as staff pucker up for a very good cause – and with one kiss burning 26 calories, everyone can do their part to get active for Sport Relief.

“HPI is proud to support Sport Relief again this year and staff are keen to get involved to raise as much as we possibly can for this incredible cause,” says Kristian Welch, Consumer Director for HPI. “Sport Relief is always a fantastic day of fun and fundraising and we want everyone to come along and join in the fun at HPI. It’s all for a good cause and our staff are eager to go the extra mile for Sport Relief, hoping we raise more than ever.”
