With less than a week to go, Honda is busy putting final details in place as it prepares to showcase its prestigious history of sport and innovation at the 20th
. Hillclimb races, legendary drivers, off road experiences and Honda Live are just some of the exciting plans that Honda has in store for Festival attendees.
Honda plans to leave Festival-goers in awe, with legendary riders and drivers taking to the wheels of vehicles, old and new. Freddie Spencer, three time World Motorcycle Grand Prix champion, and John Surtees, the only man to have won both the F1 championship and the World Motorcycle Grand Prix, are just two big names who will be reunited with their old chargers on Goodwood’s famous Hillclimb.
Joining Freddie and John will be a host of Honda four wheel and two wheel legends including Gabriele Tarquini, Gordon ‘Flash’ Shedden, Matt Neal, John McGuinness, Alex Lowes, Ralph Bryans and Stuart Graham, who will all be negotiating machines up the Goodwood Hillclimb throughout the three day Festival.
It’s not just the professionals who get to have all the fun, Festival-goers have the chance to try out one of Honda’s All Terrain Vehicles on a specially designed course and have a go on two-wheels with the Honda motorcycle MotoX experience. Both these activities will be running between 9am-5pm on all four days of the event (Thursday to Sunday) and are completely free of charge.
Capturing the excitement of the Festival will be the Honda Live team. With roving reporters, roaming camera crews and an onsite editing studio, the Honda Live team will be catching all the action straight from the heart of the event. Look out for interviews with famous faces and behind the scenes footage at all Honda areas throughout the Festival
