BEN, the automotive industry charity is celebrating its 107th birthday from 16-22 July 2012. The week-long celebration, National BEN Week, has become a highlight of the industry’s calendar and this year, with the new theme ‘Back 2 School’, will be no exception.
The ‘Back 2 School’ theme aims to encourage automotive companies to get their staff involved in having some fun whilst raising awareness and funds for the charity. The suggested target of £107, in recognition of BEN’s age, makes it accessible to everyone.
Kelly Neal, BEN’s Events Manager said “National BEN Week gives everyone the opportunity to have some fun and with the introduction of the new ‘Back 2 School’ theme. We hope to create a spark of creativity within the industry and get as many people to take part as we can. No matter how big or small the fundraising idea, every penny goes to helping our automotive industry colleagues in times of need.”
