Hooker Richard, 30, who has signed from Ospreys and fly-half James, 29, who joins from Perpignan, are both excited about the Aviva Premiership season ahead; and the pair are delighted with their new vehicles.

Wales back James, who has 75 international caps, said: “We have made some really good signings and we’ve got some new coaching staff so everyone is really excited this season.

“It’s exciting to be at a new club and it’s good to change things up. We’re looking forward to the challenge.

“The Mitsubishi L200 looks great and I’m looking forward to getting into it. Rugby players are always carrying lots of kit so it’s great to have so much space in the back.”

The L200 is the ultimate pick-up. That’s because it’s tough yet car-like and delivers an incomparable pick-up package, offering strength, reliability and versatility. Rugged and reliable, it’s the perfect companion and is as happy climbing a mountain as it is cruising along a motorway.

The L200 is also one of the most environmentally-friendly pick-ups on the market, meaning that drivers can’t only bolster their green credentials, but they can also feel safe in the knowledge that the L200 will be cheaper to run.

Mitsubishi is proud to have the most well-known pick-up on the market for many years now. The L200’s success is in its practical, powerful, economical, flexible and user-friendly vehicle range.

It’s not by accident that the L200 has been voted pick-up of the year 15 times from 18 and it continues to be one of the most popular pick-ups on the market.

Richard, who has 31 Wales caps, said: “They’re lovely machines and we’re both really pleased with them. I’m looking forward to driving it and as a dad-of-two young children it will be ideal for the family because there’s so much space and it’s such a safe vehicle.”

Looking to the season ahead Richard is hoping for success on the pitch.

He said: “The first thing we’re looking at is to gel as a squad. There are a lot of new faces, not just players, but coaching staff as well so it will take time to gel. With the squad we have got, once we all click, there’s no ceiling on where we can go.”
