Following today’s announcement of the 2012 Auto Express Driver Power Survey, road safety organisation, and breakdown cover company, GEM Motoring Assist celebrates five successive years of award-winning results for its breakdown cover service.
Despite being narrowly beaten to the top spot this year, GEM is once again first for overall service as the company continues to build on its esteemed track record. GEM was voted number one for breakdown cover in 2011, 2010 and 2008 and was runner up in 2009.
The customer survey, which also includes a number of the larger breakdown firms, reveals that GEM scored more than 85.7 per cent across the five different sections, just 0.27 per cent lower than the winner’s score! Importantly, GEM took the top spots in the ‘speed of recovery’ and ‘overall service’ categories, showing its ongoing commitment to providing the highest quality service to its customers.
David Williams MBE, CEO of GEM Motoring Assist, comments: “Although we are disappointed about missing out on first place, we are delighted with the customer feedback from the survey. Not only did we come first in terms of overall service but knowing that we are number one for speed of recovery is a big win for us.
“This annual survey is a key indicator to show us how our members feel about the service and, in turn, the areas we need to improve on. Coming a close second for ‘friendliness and helpfulness’ is a great result for our customer service team as we strive to offer our members all we can in terms of a complete breakdown service,” David concludes.
