The conference, sponsored by Volvo Trucks and Brigade Electronics, will give transport managers the information and assistance they need to meet the challenges of the rapidly changing transport scene in Northern Ireland, covering key issues facing transport managers in the year ahead and providing invaluable advice that is relevant to everyday operations.

FTA policy experts will be on hand to give essential updates and provide transport managers of operations of all sizes with essential guidance and best practice advice surrounding future legislation and enforcement changes.

Steven McAlernon, Logistics Manager at Primeline Logistics, who attended the 2014 event said:

"I found the Transport Manager conference extremely worthwhile.  Not only does it keep you up-to-date with the latest - and future - changes in transport law, it also gives excellent advice regarding fleet improvements.  Networking is also a very important part of the day with ideas being shared and future business opportunities discussed.  March 2014 may have been my first but it will certainly not be my last."

Frank Weir, Transport Manager for SHS Sales & Marketing, who was also there, said:

“I was delighted to attend the FTA Transport Manager conference and I have nothing but praise for the professional organisation of the event and the useful topics presented on the day.  In particular I found the presentation on enforcement very worthwhile as it is extremely important to be regularly updated on new and changing regulatory requirements within our industry sector.  I would highly recommend this event to other transport operatives.”
