Popular applications for current Ford and Hyundai engines head the list of new Victor Reinz gaskets available exclusively in the UK and Ireland from MAHLE Aftermarket Ltd.
For one of the best selling superminis in the volume car market, Victor Reinz now has head gasket and headsets available for the Ford Fiesta 1.3 Rocam engine, and for the Hyundai i10 1.1 engine. Multiple new part numbers to complete Victor Reinz coverage of Kia products – including Ceed, Carens, Sportage and Soul – have also been introduced.
In the light commercial vehicle sector, Victor Reinz headsets and head gaskets are now available for Ford Transit vans powered by the 2.2 Duratorq engine.
For heavy commercial vehicles, there is an extensive Victor Reinz catalogue for cylinder head gaskets, including the latest metal-elastomer, multi-layer steel, copper-plated steel and three-layer steel designs. Reinz OE engine customers include Caterpillar, Cummins, Daimler, DAF, Deutz, Ford, MAN, Navistar and TATA.
Victor Reinz sales through MAHLE Aftermarket grew by just over 30% last year, continuing the pattern of steady growth in Reinz gaskets and other engine sealing products since the brand’s introduction in the UK aftermarket in 2007. The company is targeting a similar level of sales expansion in 2012.
Further developments planned for this year include a new catalogue for cars and LCVs, and the launch of another complementary product range, which will be a groundbreaking development for the sealing market.
