Five Members of the Public Review New Citroen DS5 Ahead of its UK Launch

Citroen DS5

Citroën has released five video reviews about New DS5, made by the winners of its ‘DS5 Star Experience’ competition. The five lucky winners, picked from hundreds of entrants, flew with their guests to the South of France for a luxury five-star weekend and the opportunity to be amongst the first to drive and review New DS5 ahead of its UK launch on 2 April. During the weekend, the competition winners experienced activities that embody DS5’s marketing strapline - ‘The Refined, Redefined.’

The winners and their guests stayed at the stylish Kube hotel in St. Tropez; designed perfumes at Molinard; ate at the Michelin-starred L’Olivier restaurant; tasted fine wines at Chateau Léoube; and were chauffeur driven in a fleet of vintage Citroën DS models.

In between all the activities, and whilst driving, the couples were invited to channel their inner Top Gear presenting skills and to report on the distinctive New Citroën DS5 by starring in their own video reviews. All five videos have now been uploaded to the ‘DS5 Star Experience’ tab on Citroën UK’s Facebook page, as well as the Citroën YouTube channel.

Melina Kacherou-Carage, Head of Digital Marketing at Citroën UK, commented; “With this competition, we wanted to let members of the public be among the first to get behind the wheel of New DS5 and to tell us what they really think of the car. We had hundreds of entries and it was a difficult job reducing the list to just five winners. With these video reviews, we’ve put our new Citroën flagship in the public’s hands. We’ve invited their open and honest opinions, which we are publishing online for all to see.”

Citroën is now inviting the public to vote for their favourite video, with the chance to win a luxury weekend away with New Citroën DS5. The voting process and new competition runs from today (8 March) to 01 May, 2012.
