Maranello, January 3, 2019-Today, the Ferrari Museum will host the launch of the “Michael 50” exhibition in honor of the champion’s 50th birthday. Fans and representatives of Scuderia Ferrari Clubs from all across Europe are expected to attend.

Michael Schumacher’s amazing record-breaking F1 career is the subject of an unique display put together by Maranello. The German champion won an unprecedented seven world titles and racked up 91 victories and 155 podium finishes.

Some of the most significant Ferrari single-seaters driven throughout his eleven years with the Scuderia are on exhibit at the Hall of Victories. They span from the F310 of 1996, which Schumacher used to win three Grand Prix races during his first year with the Prancing Horse, to the F399, which was the vehicle that let Formula 1’s oldest team start an incredible streak of triumphs in 1999 by taking home the Constructors’ title. There is also the famed “Alba Rossa” F1-2000, in which Michael won Ferrari its first world championship since Jody Scheckter did it 21 years earlier at Suzuka. Naturally, there are also the two F1 seasons of 2002 and 2004, which broke records, as well as the 248 F1 season of 2006, in which he won the Chinese GP for his final and 72nd victory with Ferrari.

Fans will also learn about Schumacher’s lesser-known side as a developer. In fact, the German driver stayed on at Ferrari after retiring from Formula 1 to assist the Scuderia as well as to help with the development of many road vehicles, including the 430 Scuderia in 2007 and the Ferrari California in 2008.

The display will coexist with the Maranello Museum’s already running exhibits, “Driven by Enzo” and “Passion and Legend.”

Michael 50 was planned in cooperation with the Keep Fighting Foundation.
