Discover science with Sci-Bono at the Rand Show 2012

It’s not just the circus and the Kids Theatre and the snake shows and the high-dive shows which promise to be hours of fun at this year’s Rand Show. Come along and see just how much fun science can be, with the Sci-Bono Discovery Centre.

The science team from Sci-Bono will be engaging curious minds of all ages with a daily schedule of edu-taining chemistry shows, hands-on workshops and interactive puzzles.

Don’t miss Sci-Bono’s fascinating chemistry shows that prove just how exciting science can be. From 6-15 April 2012, at 10am, 1pm and 3pm, witness some explosive chemical reactions in a show packed with experiments that’ll have your grey matter sparking.

At 11am, 2pm and 4pm, it’s time for “Crazy Circuits”, a show which promises to be electrifying fun. Experiment with and create electric circuits, investigate parallel and series connections, learn how to connect ammeters and volt meters, and find out what they measure.

Every day, from 9am to 6pm, test your skills on Sci-Bono’s interactive exhibits and mind-challenging puzzles.

Throughout the show, there will also be experienced career facilitators from the BHP Billiton Career Centre @ Sci-Bono on hand to give advice to young people, providing guidance on subject selection, career choice, study plans and exam techniques.

So come and stimulate your mind while having fun with science, at the Rand Show 2012. For more news about the Rand Show you can visit our Rand Show pages.
