Well-known for tempting savvy consumers with “shockingly affordable” cars, Dacia’s offering them the chance to keep their running costs down too, by specifying an extended warranty, service plan, or both, at the click of a button.

Sticking to the Dacia philosophy of only paying for what you really value, in the Owner Services section of its plain-talking website, they’ll be able to plump for a five year/60,000 mile warranty for £395 (including VAT – delete) or a seven year/100,000 mile warranty at £850, using their credit or debit card. Whether or not they opt for a longer warranty of their choice, there’s always an affordable servicing option too, with a three year/36,000 mile service plan for £489, making budgeting more affordable, and in these cash-strapped times, simpler.

Customers pay a set fee for what suits them because we believe everyone should only pay for what they need. “With Dacia we make sure our customers get every penny of what they pay for. We don’t force them to pay a premium for a longer warranty if they don’t want one. But, if you do, you can “do the maths” at your local Dacia Retailer and now online.”

The newly upgraded Dacia Store offers a convenient and user-friendly method of purchase, with a responsive design, meaning the site works across desktop, mobile and tablet formats. It comes with a simple pricing structure, with one charge for each warranty or service plan across the range.

The extended warranty is manufacturer-backed, and provides continued peace of mind once the manufacturer’s warranty has ended. The service plan covers the manufacturer’s scheduled servicing for the first three years, or 36,000 miles of ownership, whichever comes first, meaning that with one easy payment the customers’ servicing costs are taken care of there and then, from the comfort of your own armchair.

Customers have up to one year from registration to purchase a warranty or service plan, and cover remains with the car. This means if it’s sold with a valid contract, the cover passes to the new owner, which enhances resale value and only adds to its appeal.

Running alongside the new Dacia Store is the fixed-price servicing catalogue, also available to book online. All work is carried out by highly-trained Dacia technicians with all Dacia parts guaranteed for one year and, naturally, no hidden costs.
