The company that pioneered F1 carbon off-set agreements with Vodafone Mercedes McLaren and Sauber, moves into Porsche motor racing with British rising star
London, 1 June 2012 – Carbon Neutral Investments (CNI) moved further into the world of motorsport with the announcement this week of a new sponsorship agreement with Redline Racing’s Michael Meadows, for the Monaco Porsche Supercup event.
Michael, who is the current leader of the Porsche Carrera Cup UK championship, had his car emblazoned with CNI’s characteristic ‘polar bear’ motif for the Monaco event – which ran on the same circuit as the weekend’s F1 Monaco Grand Prix. Porsche Supercup is an international championship open to Porsche Carrera Cup competitors, and runs at Formula One Grand Prix events throughout the year.
Following the race on Sunday, Michael said: “The opportunity to race in Monte Carlo is the pinnacle of a race driver’s calendar, and I am delighted to have been a part of the Porsche Supercup here. I’d like to thank CNI for their support and am looking to continue my charge to the UK title in the remaining races of 2012.”
