The cars are displayed in a replica of a typical night owls club, which doubles as the side-entrance to Honda’s stand at the show.

“We’ve pretty much cracked the traditional end of the market who appreciate our core Honda values of excellent reliability and superb build quality. These people keep coming back for Hondas,” says Philip Purnell, Honda’s Divisional Manager of Communications in South Africa.

“Now it’s time to really reach the younger end of the market, who’ll also appreciate what amazing value for money our Brio range represents.”

Indeed, globally Honda is returning to its youth-orientated performance roots with a return to Formula One in 2015 the big news. In line with this Honda is also showing its stunning NSX concept vehicle at its stand, as well as its World Touring Car Championship winning Civic.
