From  R199 900, the newest addition to the DS Line, the Citroen DS3 VTi 82 Design, makes it tantalisingly manageable to drive the most stylish supermini on the block, and with a 4-yr/60 000 km service plan as part of the DS3 package, looking and feeling sexy has never been easier.

The newcomer to the Citroën stable is powered by a new 1.2-litre 3-cylinder engine which offers 25% lower fuel consumption and 35g/k lower CO2 emissions over its 4 cyclinder counterpart.

The addition of this zesty 60 kW performer opens the DS’s sensational driving experience up to a new motoring consumer, and is expected to add significant impetus to the DS3 line.

For 2013 the DS3 range now comprises four powerplants: the new 1.2, the 1.6 and a punchy THP155, with a technologically superior turbodiesel - dubbed the E HDi 90 Airdream – introduced late last year and which also boasts stop/start technology for exceptional low fuel consumption and emissions. Like the 1.2 VTi 82, it doesn’t incur any CO2 tax.

The DS3 has also once again affirmed its position as a style leader. Two new choices of roof colours and striking, three-dimensional effects in the LED lighting of the rear clusters, set the 2013 model year cars apart. With more interior colour combos available, and increased options, owning a ‘custom’ car is no longer just a dream.
