Chevrolet has provided SimBim, developers of the V-WTCC (Virtual World Touring Car Championships) game, with a custom Chevrolet HHR. The unique car is the main prize in an exciting virtual racing game competition. Competitors from all over Europe will battle it out to make the final in Monza.
“The Chevrolet HHR and the V-WTCC form a perfect combination of the message that Chevrolet is conveying: distinctive cars at a reasonable price for youthful drivers who also pay attention to dealing responsibly with natural energy resources,” said Eric Nėve, Chevrolet Europe Motorsport Manager.
The HHR is just one of many ‘green’ concepts from Chevrolet with an emphasis on improved fuel efficiency and lower carbon emissions as added value. It features an environmentally friendly LPG installation from the German Fermatas. It was the pace car for the exhilarating Brno and Oschersleben WTCC races.
The WTCC (World Touring Car Championship) is the third most prestigious FIA (Federation Internationale de l’Automobile) Motorsport championship after Formula 1
