Ssangyong Motor(President & CEO Lee Yoo-il; www.smotor.com), part of the US$14.4 billion Mahindra Group, announced on Dec. 29, 2011 that it will participate in the 11th Auto Expo to be held in New Delhi, India in January next year together with Mahindra.

Ssangyong will utilize an exhibition room of Mahindra at the Auto Expo, which will be staged at the Pragati Maidan in New Delhi from Jan. 5 to 11, opening to the general public on Jan. 7.

Ssangyong plans to introduce four models at the Auto Expo including two concept cars, namely the XIV-1, which was first launched at the Frankfurt Motor Show and grabbed much attention for its innovative design and interface, and the Korando E (introduced as the KEV2 at the Seoul Motor Show), which is an electric vehicle developed based on the Korando C, and two mass production models, the Rexton and Actyon Sports.
