Johannesburg. BMW South Africa has once again demonstrated its premium standing amongst consumers by walking away as the winner of the Ask Afrika Index® Awards 2012, in the Automotive Industry category. The company was also voted second overall across 18 industries for superior service excellence, following hot on the heels of Woolworths.
This year, over 15 430 face-to-face and telephonic interviews were conducted with the general public over a six month period. The measurement compared service levels across various industries and included 111 brands.
For the past 12 years, the Ask Afrika Orange Index® has provided insight into customer satisfaction in South Africa. As the only research measurement identifying superior service excellence in the country, the Ask Afrika Orange Index® results are widely referenced and extremely comprehensive.
“Winning first place in the Automotive Industry Category and second overall in Service Performance is a fantastic achievement,” says Bodo Donauer, MD of BMW South Africa.
“BMW South Africa continuously strives to provide a superior service experience for our customers. The outcome of the Index is further validation of our commitment to delivering on a premium service. Now that we have attained top honour in this survey the real challenge is to see if we can continue to improve year on year in this and other measurements of customer service,” concludes Donauer.
