Best Jaguar and Land Rover Dealerships in South Africa
JAGUAR AND LAND ROVER DEALERS AND IMPORTERS GAIN RECOGNITION
Pretoria, 17 February 2014 – Jaguar Land Rover South Africa and sub-Sahara Africa have recognised its top dealers of 2013 at the company’s annual Dealer of the Year Awards, held in Oubaai, Western Cape on February 17.
Jaguar Bryanston and Land Rover Witbank emerged as the best brand dealers in the South African network, while Premier Auto Services (the Zimbabwean importer) was recognized as the Jaguar importer of the year, with Land Rover Importer of the Year going to Tanzania’s CMC Automobiles.
“Last year was an exciting one for our two brands, underpinned by the introduction of brilliant new product in the form of the Jaguar F-TYPE and the Range Rover Sport, which built on the strong foundations laid down in the previous years,” said Kevin Flynn, Managing Director of Jaguar Land Rover South Africa and sub-Sahara Africa. “Our dealers in South Africa and importers further North have grasped the opportunity to take both brands to the next level and are the ultimate Jaguar and Land Rover ambassadors.”
The four overall Dealer/Importer of the Year awards recognise those franchises achieving the best combination of actual retail volumes against target, including vehicles, parts and accessories, while meeting the needs of customers who demand – and deserve – the highest service levels.
When it came to sales success in South Africa Jaguar Bryanston also made it three in a row as it once again emerged as the most successful Jaguar sales dealer for the 2013 calendar year, while Land Rover Sandton likewise retained its top slot. Based on stringent customer satisfaction index scores, Upington was judged the Land Rover dealer with the best service throughout 2013 – as was the case the previous year. Jaguar honours in this category went to Jaguar Umhlanga.
An Embracer of the Brands award was also made for the first time, and it went to Jaguar Land Rover Centurion. This award was based on the feedback of employees at rival dealerships, and is therefore considered a good barometer of a dealer’s attitude and morale in the eyes of its peers.
“We believe we have the finest products on the market, but that counts for little if our dealer and importer network don’t complete the ownership experience circle,” continued Flynn. “They therefore play a key role in our success, and it is good and right that we acknowledge them in this way – and allow them to enjoy the fruits of their labour in their market or region. The hard work and passion of everyone within our network is the perfect accompaniment to our brands.”
