Throughout November 2011 BEN the automotive industry charity ran a text competition to win a special edition top of the range tool box which was kindly donated by Snap-on tools. Entry closed on 30 November 2011 and at this time 4,300 people entered raising an amazing £4,000 for BEN.
The text competition held by BEN and Snap-on gave all participants the chance to win the bespoke top-of-the range Snap-on McLaren Sport tool box which had been signed by F1’s Jenson Button. All that was required from the entrants was a text message response to the question ‘BEN is the official charity of which industry?’. Thousands of people responded with the correct answer, automotive, and picked at random was the winner from Devon.
BEN’s Head of Marketing, Ray Diggins, commented: “We at BEN are very thankful for the generous donation of the tool box from Snap-on.
