Leading British car care products firm, Autoglym, is once again featured in The Sunday Times list of the UK’s ‘Best 100 Companies to Work For’.
As part of parent company Altro Group, Letchworth-based Autoglym was placed 63rd in the 2012 rankings announced yesterday (4 March), 20 places higher than in 2011. This is Autoglym’s seventh successive appearance in the annual survey, and it is one of only two UK manufacturing companies to regularly feature in the list.
The annual Best 100 Companies to Work For survey aims to recognise the elite of British employers, those that excel in workplace performance and best practice.
Among various factors contributing to its inclusion in the list, the survey highlights that Autoglym’s employees enjoy high levels of workplace engagement, feel highly motivated to deliver good service, believe that they can make a valued contribution to the firm, and that the business is run on sound moral principals.
Paul Caller, CEO of Autoglym, said: “Our repeated success as one of UK’s Best 100 Companies to Work For is testament to our strong culture and brand values, and to the way in which we operate our business. Consistently reinforcing these values has seen us recognised in this survey for seven years running.
“Having a motivated, engaged and committed workforce has been a crucial factor in Autoglym continuing to deliver exceptional products and services to its retail and trade customers, and, ultimately, in retaining its leading position in the car care sector,” concludes Caller.
This year’s Best 100 Companies to Work For supplement was published in last weekend’s copy of The Sunday Times (4 March edition).
