AUDI HONOURS ITS BEST PEOPLE
At a glittering ceremony in the Theatre-on-the-Track at Kyalami, Audi of South Africa recently bestowed its highest accolades on its best dealers and their personnel.
The ‘Audi Awards of Distinction’ is the Audi dealer incentive programme and recognises and rewards the top performers within the Audi Dealer network. The Audi Awards of Distinction are highly prized by dealers as a sign of excellence in the way they serve their customers.
Audi sales and marketing general manager Mike Glendinning said in his opening address: “ The Audi Awards of Distinction are the ultimate measure of ‘Vorsprung’ within the Audi dealer network, symbolising all the values inherent in this extraordinary brand, and our ongoing commitment to pure excellence.”
A very proud Mike Thomas – Dealer Principal of Audi Fourways in Gauteng – received the coveted ‘Audi Dealer of the Year’ award for 2002.
The top-achieving new car sales manager was Theuns Mulder, also of Audi Centre Fourways.
Individual awards also went to ‘New Car Sales Executive of the Year’ David Percival from Audi Centre Cape Town – a remarkable fifth year in succession that David has earned this top award. An overseas trip forms part of his prize.
Andre Swarts of Audi Centre Menlyn collected the “Premier Dealer Award’ while Denver Biggs of Audi Centre Fourways won the Audi Pre-owned Sales Executive of the Year award.
Stefan Kruger of Audi centre Menlyn won the Pre-owned sales manager award.
“More than anything else, it is the service experience which creates an enduring relationship with the customer and builds brand loyalty. We therefore honour the Audi Service Manager who achieved the highest customer satisfaction rating amongst Audi Centres in 2002. He is Mannetjie Nortje, Service Manager at Audi Centre in Bloemfontein. He too will receive an overseas trip,” said Mr Glendinning.
